YANICK DUSSEAULT Aka DUSSO es uno de los grandes referentes en concept art y matte painting para películas y televisión, su trayectoria es extensa, interesante e inspiradora, entre los proyectos en los que ha colaborado se cuentan películas como Transformers (Revenge of the Fallen), Star Trek, Indiana Jones (Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), War of the Worlds, Star Wars (Episode III), PeterPan, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Terminator III, The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings), The Fellowship Of The Ring (The Lord of the Rings) y Titan AE, por nombrar solo algunas. Su trabajo en estas producciones ha estado ligado a la dirección de arte y artista conceptual, logrando que su trabajo obtuviera reconocimientos importantes por parte de la industria cinematográfica.

DUSSO se graduó en el programa de Ilustración en Sheridan College (CANADÁ). Su trabajo grafico lo desarrolla en técnica digital, siendo el manejo de los detalles uno de los grandes valores de su producción, así mismo su excelente manejo de los paisajes urbanos y rurales, algunas de sus creaciones parten de fotografía pero en su proceso se aleja de la misma hasta lograr fascinantes acabados pictóricos.

Otro aspecto interesante en la producción de gráfica de YANICK DUSSEAULT Aka DUSSO, tiene que ver con su excelente manejo de la luz, aspecto fundamental en el trabajo de los artistas dedicados al matte painting, pues el dominio de los valores tonales y matices de color son determinantes para lograr credibilidad y magia en las piezas e historias creadas.

La gran trayectoria y conocimiento de YANICK DUSSEAULT la comparte además en videos en formato DVD que comercializa y en los cuales aborda diferentes temas como las técnicas básicas del matte painting, pintura para efectos visuales y la profundidad en los ambientes escenarios, entre otros temas claves para los interesados en la producción gráfica para cine y televisión.

YANICK DUSSEAULT Aka DUSSO is one of the best references in concept art and matte painting for film and television, his career is extensive, interesting and inspiring. Among the projects in which he has collaborated include movies like Transformers (Revenge of the Fallen), Star Trek, Indiana Jones (Kingdom of the Crystal Skull), War of the Worlds, Star Wars (Episode III), PeterPan, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Terminator III, The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings), The Fellowship Of The Ring (The Lord of the Rings) and Titan AE, to name a few. He worked on such productions as art director and concept artist, making his work important recognitions obtained by the film industry.

DUSSO graduated from the illustration program at Sheridan College (Canada). His graphic work is developed in digital technology, with the management of one of the great details of its production values, also his excellent management of urban and rural landscapes, some of his creations start shooting but the process is far from until it finishes fascinating pictorial.
