Surrealism is a word that we have recently used a lot in Colectivo Bicicleta, there may be many artists creating in this way or perhaps we are a little biased in terms of artistic tastes; in any case we believe that it is always worth letting go of the unreal and explore possible worlds only through the magic of creativity, in the case of BROOKE SHADEN, through photographic creativity.
BROOKE SHADEN is a sensitive young woman with studies in film and visual arts, her photography work is challenging, lonely and somewhat rebellious, her flickr gallery is quite a large collection of artistic endeavor in which the female figure used to raise their particular way of seeing the world. Her work proposed in the format, which is almost always a perfect square, the colors of each of her works are well studied and ideas ranging from romantic to cruel, almost always with hidden faces of her characters to keep a disturbing twist along her production.
