Desde ya la exitosa compañía de animación adelanta detalles de su estreno en el 2012.
Junio parece ser uno de los meses favoritos para Pixar, pues al lado del estreno de la esperada Cars 2, adelantaron detalles de lo que será su película en el año 2012, recordemos que esta importante compañía de animación nos tiene acostumbrados a disfrutar de una película cada año, en el caso del 2012 será BRAVE, una historia medieval cuyo personaje principal es en esta ocasión una mujer, como quien dice que esta vez Pixar quiere innovar pues hasta ahora ninguno de los personajes principales de sus producciones había sido una mujer ni tampoco habían apostando por historias de caballeros y princesas; para muchos el cambio se debe además a alguna influencia que puede ejercer el estilo de Miyazaki, quien frecuentemente recurre a historias de niñas.
BRAVE (Valiente) se iba a llamar en un principio The bear and the Bow (El oso y el arco) pero creemos que el nuevo título describe mejor esta apuesta de Pixar por una historia un poco mas adulta, con unos personajes hasta ahora impecables y unos paisajes arriesgados y exigentes. La historia se desarrolla en Escocia y tiene que ver con la necesidad de su protagonista por encontrar su camino en el mundo, al parecer la historia tendrá un toque más dramático sin sacrificar el humor y las travesuras que siempre cautivan.
Los adelantos que hemos podido encontrar de BRAVE incluyen el tráiler, el poster y algunos personajes, hasta el momento con el material que hemos visto notamos un mayor interés por los detalles, el cabello de la protagonista por ejemplo, el cual nos deja impactados y ansiosos de verlo con tecnología 3D y HD, seguramente será todo un espectáculo para quienes disfrutamos de la buena gráfica.
BRAVE ha sido anunciada para mediados de junio de 2012 pero ya en el blog de Pixar han empezado a llamar la atención con adelantos de la que sin duda será su gran apuesta para el próximo año. Les compartimos además algunos estudios del concept art de la película.

The progress we have been able to find BRAVE includes the trailer, the poster and some characters, so far with the material we have been noticed more interest in the details, the star’s hair for example, which leaves us shocked and anxious to see 3D and HD technology is sure to be a spectacle for those who enjoyed the good graphics.
BRAVE has been announced for mid June 2012 but Pixar’s blog have begun to call attention to advances that will undoubtedly be the greatest project for next year. They also share some concept art studies of the film.
